Hacked Accounts - Guild Wars Forums

Recently Jay Shrine, a user on GWG and one of my personnal friend, Tha Moo , Have had their account hacked by some guy.

Yesterday, when my friend(not really) logged on, I pmed him. The hacker replied that I was annoying and kicked me out of my guild and kept on changing characters. At first, I thought it was my friend joking around, but this morning he told me that he had got hacked and all of his characters were deleted.

Having completed all 3versions of Guild wars with a couple of characters, it seems natural that he would be pissed off. I believe that Anet can get a recording of the trades that a character had in past days, because the guy logged on the characters before deleting them, thus leading me to believe that he took his equipment.

my message is this: Anyone who gets their account hacked IN THE SAME WAY please post so that I can send a whopping notice to Anet to catch the @#$%& guy.

The reason on how the guy got the password is unknown to me, but i know that he went on each character to loot everything, and then he deleted every single character.

All I mean is: Anyone whos has had EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER DELETED when they log on please post. All I want to do is send a notice to Anet, maybe not to restore all of the characters, but just to catch the guy who did all of this.

Hey, we don't know... maybe tomorrow he'll have hacked EVERY SINGLE GW ACCOUNT IN EXISTENCE!!!

In what way?
Messing about on a character is not a unique trait (or deleting/selling/tradin items).

Not bloody likely given how guildwars works. Most likely your friend has some form of spyware on his computer that caught the username and password and forwarded them onto the thief.
